We are a non-auditioned chorus made up of singers of all levels from West Linn and surrounding communities. The chorus is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization run by a volunteer board of directors. The board’s monthly meetings are open to all members.
Tina Paradiso, Artistic Director: As owner and co-founder of Vivace Voices, LLC (a professional entertainment company in Portland), Tina conducts their premier, a cappella holiday ensemble, The Fireside Carolers. Her local performing credits include: “Sunday Night at the Bus Stop Café,” “Menopause, the Musical,” and “Late Nite Catechism.” She has toured nationally with “Les Miserable” and “Fiddler on the Roof.” As a concert performer, Tina has performed in cities throughout the west coast as well as internationally in Australia and Canada. Other choral directing credits include Musical Director for Seton High School’s Drama program in Vancouver, Holy Family Catholic Church’s Traditional Choir and the Mary’s Woods Singers at Mary’s Woods. Ms. Paradiso received her Bachelor’s degree in both vocal performance and music education from California State University at Chico.
Ardeth Fulmer, Assistant Music Director: Ardeth has a degree in music from Portland State University. She was a member of Sweet Adelines International for over fifty years. Ardeth was the musical director for Portland’s City of Roses championship chorus, and also served as an international judge, arranger, and coach. She has worked as both rehearsal and orchestra pianist for The Portland Civi Theater and is the accompanist for the Westside Singers. Currently she plays with Glenn Tadina’s Swing Street Band and also plays in Easy Street, an instrumental jazz trio.
MaryAnn Oringdulph, Accompanist: MaryAnn performed with the Portland Youth Philharmonic as a child. While attending Whitman College, she performed as a guest soloist with symphony orchestras from Portland to Japan. She has accompanied dance and musical theater productions for the Portland Parks Bureau, Portland Civic Theater, and Portland Children’s Chorus. She currently coaches and assists with the music programs at Portland Public Schools. In addition, MaryAnn is an accompanist for the Holy Family Catholic Church in Portland.
The full Chorus performs in December and May. Two smaller groups of chorus members, the Ensemble and the Barbershop Quartet, also perform at local events and retirement homes. Concerts feature a variety of music. The chorus emphasizes four-part harmony in musical styles that are fun to sing and hear – show tunes, folk songs, classical, jazz, pop, Americana, and more.
If you would like to invite the chorus, ensemble, or quartet to sing at your event or facility, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
