When can I join?

New singers can join the chorus at the beginning of both the Fall and Spring concert seasons. Singers have the option to attend either or both of the initial two rehearsals before making a commitment.  If you’re interested, please email us at westlinnchorus@gmail.com. We will notify you of dates, times, fees and other details.  The fee for the 2023 Fall season is $110.

When do we rehearse?

We meet every Thursday at 7:00 pm. There is one Saturday rehearsal each season. We ask that members plan to attend all rehearsals and notify their section leader if they need to be absent.

Who can join?

As a true community chorus, we welcome anyone who can carry a tune. No auditions are required. While most members have prior choral singing experience and many read music, others pick up their parts with the help of rehearsals, sectional rehearsals, and practice recordings. Although we meet in West Linn, our members gather from all over the Portland metro area.

What kind of music do we sing?

We sing all kinds of music: classical, popular, traditional, songs from Broadway and more.

What about performances?

The full chorus performs concerts in December and May. The Ensemble, a smaller auditioned group, performs with the full chorus and occasionally performs at other community venues as well.
